Savanna Sound of Summer 2026

One Day. One Beach. Three Stages. Endless Energy.

Every year on 28 December, Namibia's dance-music community comes together at the coast for the ultimate end-of-year celebration. Set beside the tidal pools and iconic jetty at Long Beach, Sound of Summer turns the beachfront into a full-scale festival of music, movement, sunshine and thousands of people celebrating as one.

This year Shimza takes control of the Savanna Main Stage, joined by Timo ODV, Kurt April, Celso Fabbri, Fafa Bruwer and a powerful selection of Namibia's most exciting local DJs.

Three stages, three experiences:

• Savanna Main Stage — the major artists, headline performances and biggest festival moments
• Coca-Cola Coke Studio Stage — vibrant, energetic performances to keep the crowd moving all day
• Jetty Stage — home of the underground, an intimate space for deeper sounds and serious dance-music lovers

Twelve hours of uninterrupted music beside the Atlantic, from midday to midnight. Expect a wide range of food vendors and expanded bars built for faster service.

Getting there: dedicated festival buses run throughout the day between Swakopmund, Walvis Bay and the event. On-site parking is available, and carpooling is encouraged. No drinking and driving.

Note: this is a cashless event. Strictly no under 18s. No outside food or drink, no glass, no pets.

Come early. Dress for the beach. Bring your people. Prepare to dance.
