Desert Sands sits centrally on the corner of Libertina Amathila Avenue and Otavi Street, within easy walking distance of the town centre, several restaurants and pubs, and a short walk further to the beach.
The property is privately owned and managed, and offers 22 boutique apartments. Guests can book any of them either self-catering or as bed and breakfast — every apartment is fitted with a kitchenette, so the choice is yours.
The Deluxe Dune View apartments come in one, two and three-bedroom layouts and look out over the dunes and the town. Apartments have flat-screen TVs, separate lounges, air conditioning and generous beds. Streaming and smart-home entertainment is provided, and board games are available for quieter evenings.
Breakfast is a German-style buffet served daily between 07:00 and 10:00. The team also runs a laundry service, offers a city orientation tour to help new arrivals get their bearings, and can arrange in-room wine tasting.
