About

Cornerstone is a small, owner-run bed and breakfast tucked into a quiet residential corner of Swakopmund's old town, roughly two minutes' walk from the town centre and about five from the seafront.

The main house has seven rooms — five double or twin and two family rooms that sleep four. Each has its own entrance and a small private patio with a table and chairs, and most look onto the garden. Rooms are en-suite with solar-assisted showers, satellite TV, a bar fridge, a tea and coffee station and a safe.

Alongside the B&B the owners run self-catering apartments, each with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to six. Apartment guests can still take breakfast in the main house if they would rather not cook.

The hosts are happy to make dinner reservations and arrange day trips, from Walvis Bay excursions to desert tours. Cornerstone is a member of the Hospitality Association of Namibia.
